This Customer Service was Truly the Bee’s Knees!

bee's knees john di lemmeWhen we saw that Hurricane Irma was headed toward South Florida, Christie and I jumped in the car and headed North.  We rented an awesome Airbnb in North Augusta, South Carolina. It was an absolutely beautiful area with a lot of great restaurants.  One of the best was called The Bee’s Knees in downtown Augusta, Georgia. Yes, Georgia…we were staying right on the state line so we enjoyed the best of both worlds. 🙂

This trendy tapas restaurant makes all of their own food using local, seasonal, and sustainable ingredients as much as possible. Plus they had a lot of whole food, plant based options.  Our favorite was the sweet potato hummus, which was recommended by our server, Matthew.

john di lemme bee's kneesThe food was delicious, but Matthew’s awesome customer service was the icing on the cake.  He made great suggestions based on our request for healthy options and was truly committed to serving us food that we absolutely loved.  The service was prompt, and the food came out quickly.  All of the staff had great attitudes and were genuinely happy to have us dining at the restaurant despite it being fifteen minutes before closing.

As I write this, I am craving the sweet potato hummus!  Thank you again Matthew for the *5* star customer service!  We will definitely visit you again.
